How long have you been CrossFitting? Almost 3 years
What keeps you coming back? I enjoy that the work-outs are always different. Also, when I come to class consistently, I always see results.
How did you find CrossFit? I googled “beginner CrossFit class”
What is your athletic background? Prior to staring CrossFit I had not done anything athletic for at least 10 years. I would go to different gyms off and on then get bored with doing the same boring cardio equipment over and over and eventually stop going.
How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle and level of fitness? I am overall more confident and I know if there’s hard work to be done I am definitely capable.
Is there something you have done here that you never thought you could do? Just waking up and making it to the 6:15am class is an accomplishment for me.
What motivates/inspires you? My two daughters are my main motivation. I want to be a positive role model. I want them to grow up knowing that their mom always stayed active.
What goals have you achieved so far, and what else do you want to accomplish? Over the last few months I have been able to do a rope climb and toes-to-bar which I was proud of.
Hobbies/interests outside of CrossFit? When I do have some free time, I like to learn about New Orleans history, sew and crochet, and take French classes. I also like going to the beach as often as possible.
Getting started and into a routine is the hardest part. Everyone is so busy, its important to have some time to work on you.
